Often recycled, always responsibly sourced, our textiles are rich in texture and colour. Handcrafted accessories designed to be worn, used and loved, adding character and individuality to your everyday. For over thirty years our family business has created stylish, timeless clothing in our Somerset studio, using only the best ethically sourced natural fabrics. Our vision is inclusive of all women; it is playful, inspired and honest. We welcome you to explore our collections and join a community of people who love unique quality clothing. Moreover, we make our products to-order so that we do not produce waste. What small scraps we do produce, we repurpose into other projects or pay to be fully recycled within the UK into loft insulation.

Started by Suzie Ford in 2020, ford & guy is passionate about playful and expressive fashion that is both sustainable and ethically handmade. We do our research to ensure we only use fabrics that have evidenced sustainable credentials. This limits the range of fabrics we can work with, but ensures that we do not greenwash you. As part of our goal to make sustainable fashion as accessible as possible, we also sell our designs as sewing patterns, with instructions for you to make up the items yourselves.

We only use fabrics that have proven evidence for sustainability, including certified organic cotton, linen and hemp. Each item is made to-order in our studio in Nottingham, UK and 100% of our scraps are recycled within the UK. Many people in the world are working hard to develop ethically and sustainably-made products. The Mindful Maker Collective aims to bring together a selection of these items and the amazing people behind them. We host 30 amazing makers in our store (96 Chilwell Road, NG9 1ES), alongside our products.

All our clothing and textiles are sourced and Made in the UK, creating opportunity for British businesses and all material sourced outside of the UK has been approved by Fair Trade policies. Ethical, Sustainable Clothing

Terry Macey clothes are the antithesis of fast fashion and they have a cherished longevity that comes with handmade, good quality clothing. The entire process from design, to pattern making and sewing, happens within our studio. Linen and wool from Ireland and Scotland line the studio walls; both are sustainable, natural and recyclable fabrics. Any waste from cut pieces are donated to schools or collected by crafts people and organisations, turning potential waste into more art.
